Ersalito
An accessible messaging and sharing tool built so that sending information never depends on sight or fine motor precision.
The problem
Where the barrier is.
Popular messaging apps bury core actions behind gestures, tiny icons, and visual-only cues, making something as basic as sharing a file unreliable for disabled users.
What it does
How it helps.
A focused, accessible-by-design messaging surface with a linear flow, voice input, and generous targets — sending things becomes a predictable, confirmable sequence rather than a guessing game.
The impact
What it changes.
Users with low vision and motor impairments share content independently and confidently, without relying on inaccessible third-party apps.
In depth
How it works.
Ersalito is a lightweight tool for composing and sending messages, files, and links in a way that works for everyone. It strips away the visual clutter of typical messaging apps and replaces it with a clear, linear, fully keyboard- and screen-reader-operable flow. Voice input, large touch targets, and predictable navigation make it usable by people who find mainstream messaging apps overwhelming or inaccessible. It is intentionally small, fast, and private.
